Well i am thinking about bikes for this year. As much as i would love to have it the 650 is sicker than i thought, fixable but not within the next few months. The real problem i am having is that i will need a reliable bike for poly tech from about the 20th of feb and the katana while it is good once it is going it is a prick to start. Ignoring the fact that it is hard to start i could buy a nice (ish) 400-500cc bike on TM that the 250 would get price wise. So what do you guys think? There is also the point that dew to my size the larger bike should be better shock/brake wise.
Any opinions welcome.
Thanks

Go for a 400 imo, there's some really nice ones on at the moment, and they are cheap because no one seems to want 400's. Picked mine up for $2500, and it was in real good condition before it suffered my wrath :D

Ditch the Suzuki and get yourself a Kawasaki :Punk:
Nothing worse than a bike that just wont start, your always running late and pissed off, get something reliable or make yours reliable

Every bike is different.
My 500 gets approx 400 ks out of an 18 L tank.

I get 200K out of mine for a tank of 95 which costs $20 to fill from reserve. I could probably increase that by riding it more nana like and having it tuned etc.
