anyone ridden one of these yet? (yzf450 08)
i have been offered a sweet deal on one. what are they like with a fly wheel weight. i have heard real good things about how they perform with the weight on. does anyone here ride a 450 with a fly wheel weight?

we have had a few people put flywheels on kx450fs, everybody has loved the result, incl top national mxers and cross country racers,
although everybody who has ridden the new fuel injected rmz450 tells me they are so easy to ride,

Sounds like a backwards step to me James, most people cant even ride the 250's to their potential. Maybe just spend some more time getting the RMZ set up properly? Suspension, exhaust etc.

i was waiting for your comments on this:yawn: lol
to its potential? (don't think i ever will, no matter what the bike) yea i know..... we got to ride faster right Dan??? i am looking at riding in a different perspective. the fun factor.. not how many people in the novice class i can pass. as i think that is where i will stay for a while. cruizing at my own pace with a massive grin from ear to ear!!! if i find a bike that gives me even more fun factor than i am all for it!
going to get a test ride in 2 weeks time, should be able to get it for a whole day to have a go. then will make up my mind. i will also be riding a 08 kx250 08 kx125 and hopefully a new 08 yzf250.

Well if funs just what its about then go for it, the 250F's are good bikes with more than enough grunt but I would agree that there are alot more exciting bikes to ride, thats the whole reason I stick with the two strokes, just more fun factor!

if thats the case, hav you tried riding a 2 stroke?
i dont think anything is as fun as holding a 2 stroke pinned up a greasy ass hill climb with the back sliding everywhere!! :devil2:
