Retro is the description I was given of the helmet... To quote....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retro

Retro is a term used to describe aspects of modern culture which are consciously derivative or imitative of those trends, modes, fashions, or attitudes of the recent past which have or had come to be seen as unfashionable.

Since i am unfashionable it is arguable that I AM myself retro... Sadly - this could fall down as I'm not sure I'm part of modern culture...

Paul (retro) N

PS - Vicki points out that for accuracy I need to add that I never have actually been fashionable...

PPS - it has shiney bits....

Nup.
Silver's manly. Now if it was pink, and had colourful decals on it, that would be ghey.

And it's too high tech to be retro.

And you are obviously too pleased and excited about it to care whether or not it's ghey anyway.

sad.....Hmmm, I must say it would go nicely with my beard. Bought a $150 FFM full face last week. The old umteen year old FFM just has far to much work gunge in it to be healthy for those extended "commutes".

Looks good Paul.

Cheers Bonz - I used to have an original FFM full face - good helmet but crap visors back then.

The Nitro is great to wear on those hot days - supurb actually but I won't be buying a tinted visor for it - $89... eh?? the whole thing with clear visor cost $159 - man - those tints must cost a fortune.... I think I should take up tint farming!
