View Full Version : 145kph on a scooter

Today I was taking a long way home on my Burgman
400cc scooter. Three sports bikes came flying up behind me. Something got into me that made me wind open the throttle. I was soon hertling along at 145kph. The bikes went past even faster, I saw one look at the scooter he gave me a thumbs up sign. Perhaps if I had a 650 Burgman I could have run away from them.

I promise to behave in the future.

But not a lot more. I managed to squeeze 180 out of the one I had the other day. But it really was a squeeze. Enough to worry a Harley maybe, but not really a real bike.

If you had one of these (http://www.motorbikesblog.com/entry/gilera-gp800-an-850cc-v-twin-engined-scooter-crowned-to-be-worlds-fastest-scooter/) then I am sure that you could have made a hell of a stand... Even given them a hell of a shock! :shit: :scooter:

Good on ya DougB, "out there doin it". Anyone who worries about performance over 180 is a tosser.

What is Honda trying to do, between this and the DN01? Clicked on one of the related links in that article and saw the Forza (?) - took one look at that white seat and thought of a toilet bowl. Mmmm mmmmmmmmmmmm very classy....But then I'm only being very superficial here, it might have a lot more going for it than that :shifty:

Last time this strange person said scooters were gay I got very concerned and examined mine very closly. I could not find either a penis or cunt. This listee must be seeing things or is he demented?
