WANTED ZX9r Engine/Parts

Hi Guys, Im looking for a ZX900r-b 1996 engine, blew the conrod through the front of the engine, one cold winter day. So haven't been able to do any riding this awsome summer. :sunny:

Bike shop says its gonna cost shytloads to get new parts for it. Piston, crank, conrod, sleave pus all the little bits.

So if any one knows where another engine is or some parts it would be great. Or some I can try. Tired a few wreakers now but with no luck.

how did you manage that? Sounds like something to avoid.

Can't have mine either but apparently the zx9R engines were aquired for speedway sidecars. Possibly whole engines on E-bay may be the cheaper way to go.

Was coming into town with a real stong head wind and just thought thats why the bike felt a bit slugest until it went bang.

Only thing that wasnt right was the oil pickup mesh had some shavings in it. All the oil galleries was all clean.
