... how fucking awesome it is to be out riding! :niceone:  :D
Amazingly - approximately one month without your bike is all it takes.
Anyway, I went and picked up my bike from Norjo's today - 6 weeks to the day I handed it in.
I think Gordon has done a good job of taking the entire top-end apart, clean it all out and put two new valves and a new camchain in her. (It is all to do with this story (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=63428).)
The engine sounds a bit different after the job - it has a bit more of a raspy growl to it which could probably be from having all the carbon deposits removed from the valves, combustion chambers and piston heads.
Had a fun trip home along the Summit Road and out to Redcliffs although the wind is picking up alright...
If feels a bit funny having been off riding for 6 weeks when it's only been just over 4 months since I got into the game.
