:Oi:Anyone else coming on this ride sounds like it could be a good one if the weather is goodI'm keen to ride with joo from vegas to tauranga if the road is dry.

you should know ;

1. I havent done a group ride before

2. I don't know this road

3. I'm still getting used to my big (for me) bike. (done about 1100km on it.)

4. edit: I can stay in my own half-lane ;-)

I can generally travel up around the speed limit, and I'm prepared to to what I'm fucking told though, so what say you ?

The weekend could get pretty sleazy with that low decending on the nth.
Humans are water proof, but since I dodged rain most of last week in the sth, and the Daytona is needing a HT coil ($250 aghhhh), I'm out of this ride.
Gotta swap tyres etc on the Scrambler for the Triumph Rally next weekend.

Yea I shouldn't be riding it - still havent replaced the shock or the broken indicator - went anticlockwise around the lower Waikato, only had to turn left so didn't need the right hand indicator. Too wet to give it heaps so the poor condition of the rear shock wasn't so much of an issue.

You sound like a keen started for the Rusty Nuts 'Grand Challenge', 3rd weekend in October. 800 miles of wet in less than a day - dampness doesnt come near to
describing it :)
