I was kinda wondering if Wgtn people would like to get together for an evening meal a couple of weeks before Christmas - perhaps Thursday 9th Dec? I was thinking of "Hunful" Chinese in Queen's Drive, Lower Hutt - they do lovely food (thanks for the intro Deano). I'm happy to organise.

I realise we've got the BBQ on the 27th so if people think that that's enough and don't want another event that's fine.

Thoughts please.

I'm unlikely to finish all my orange beef so you're welcome to what’s left.

Well I've sold my Italian bike (Beta) & am now left with 2 spanish bikes & 4 Jappers. Doesn't make me a ducattissii, or even close.

I have another Xmas function on this night  - would loved to have been able to come though as I really enjoyed the food there (AND they displayed a fine appreciation for motorbikes!!) :niceone:

Lynda doesn't have computer access (she hasn't for a couple of weeks due to a virus) and therefore she hasn't been able to access KB's.

She asked if I could gague interest in this event.

Can people please PM me if they are keen? I don't get on here a lot myself (I've been away since Friday and I think there were about 100 pages!).

Thanks all - Cathy :niceone:

Does Lynda need a hand to fix the problem?
I think it she is just waiting for some software. I'll ask her. Thanks.

Shouldn't take two weeks.

Install AVG version 7 free edition and spybot, and 99% of virus/bot/spyware probs will be fixed in about 30 minutes.

Get her to call my selling bone.

Huh. Get her to instal a decent *nix, Firefox, Thunderbird and Open Office and 99.9999999999% of these problems will almost completely disappear forever. :Pokey:

Give a man a chance to prove himself and then offer "expert" advice, will ya?

Lynda's words:

"I think we might can it for now Cathy, I'm all at sixes and sevens with
not getting back Sunday night (we weren't able to get a flight till
8.45PM!!!!! so didn't get home till after 10pm last night) and there
doesn't seem too much interest - I think people went to the bbq and
decided that was enough, and it's a really busy time of year. Can you
post to say let's flag?"

Also Jim2: "The guys from work are getting me some software for my home PC, as it's actually my work one - but pse thank Jim very much for his offer."

Maybe in the New Year sometime. :)
