Hey there

Just wanted to say hi, my name is Graham and I'm living on the North Shore in Auckland. I've got a bright red Hyosung GT250R '06 model and have had my learners for a few days or so but I've already gone for a few rides and loved it. I've got crash bungs installed on my bike which are mainly used for the slow drops while I'm still learning, they've saved my fairings on at least 1 occasion. I also play guitar and work in IT.

It's great to be on KB and look forward to talking with you all.

Cheers,

Graham.

The slow drops?
Already dropping the bike. I guess you'll fit in well around here.:shifty:

Have a look at the Ride Right Ride Safe (RRRS) courses that are organised regularly. Loads of good info and skills to practice.

Thanks all. May the force be with you, Blue Velvet.

DingoZ - I got mine installed by a dude from New Zealand Motorcycle Rentals which is based in Ponsonby, Auckland. I got the bungs for a song (Oggys, the dude who sold me the bike gave them to me for 50 bucks) and installing them cost about $80.

I had a slow drop a few weeks back which one of the bungs took a pretty solid hit and my fairings weren't damaged at all, I showed it to my mates and they said it's just paid for itself.

I just went on a ride from the North Shore down to Tauranga and back (stayed in Tauranga overnight), wow that was some serious fun!

Ride safe all.

Cheers :)

Aye, pics would be good. Also maybe a phone number for the guy. As there are a few people around looking to fit bungs to their hyo's, so he may be in demand, if he wants to strike a deal...:)

Hey all, sorry about the big as delay in getting back to you. I've attached a few pics of the crash bungs on my bike. In all honesty I dunno how well they'd serve me at 200 km/ph if I binned but seeing as the bike doesn't even go that fast (lol) and that they've already saved my fairings on at least 2 occasions, I think they were a good call to put on. The guy's name who installed them is Mike and he works at NZ Motorcycle Rentals in Ponsonby, Auckland. Contact info is as follows -

Street Address: 35 Crummer Road, Ponsonby, Auckland
Postal Address: PO Box 106-156, Auckland
Phone: +64-9-360 7940
Fax: +64-9-360 7941
e-mail: tours@nzbike.com

Hubba Gubba - dude, it's so random/awesome to hear that you're riding and just up the road. Hows that hand comin'?? I'm itching for some rides!!

p.s. Sorry about the quality of the pictures - taken on a cellphone camera :)
