Well Turn up just after 8 in the morning and unload bike,
Dad got to work on the gearing changes putting a 34t rear and a 17t front.
Geared the bike for a top speed of 230kph,
After riders briefing I ended up goign back and throwing on all my gear and firing up the 125, after warming her up I ended up going up the whole on quick notice I learnt I had areally tall first gear and knew as I startedthere was gonna be a whole lot of clutch the Bike being so light and the road being up and down I decided to Harden my Damper up as I didnt want any front end head shake.
At the top of the hill the guys let me go firstas the 125 dont got a thermo and just overheats, Thanks guys.
I Line up and Deano gives me the all clear togo rev the engine to 14000 RPM and Slip the clutch get well over 200 metres and finally let clutch go once bike slams 14000RPM again I click second Piling down road into 3rd notice I run out of power I start slipping clutch Just before the school start line I hook 4th and the engine drops way down to 8000RPM no Power at All so I Wack her back down to 3rd gear and start my run in 3rd
Stay in 3rd and cross line I knew that run wasnt so good,
Run 2
Going back up hill, I Slip clutch and take off again this time crossing start line in first and selecting second in run didnt even hook 3rd and yet it was faster than my downhill run at a top speed of 187ks not bad for second gear I guess.
The guys come in to do a Gearing change and do some standings I end up going back and getting out my gear letting dad know the bike just wernt right but he knew it and decided to gear me down again, Checking my jetting I was running a 170 which according to my jet chart was optimum I optided to stay on this jet,
I got dressed again and went back out and did a standing 1/4 mile.
This gave me the opportunity to test my starts on this gearing, Not getting the best start I could have hoped for I managed a 13.7 second run,
i was impressed figuring the 125 would do a 14 or 15.
Back up hill for another run at the Flyings and went second this time opting to watch another guy do his run first,
I line up once again Deano gives the me the all clear,
I rev her up to 14000 slip the clutch this time shes away and boggying haha.
I end up sitting my chine on the tank and not seeing were im going hooking every gear hook 6th and max her out before start line the bike starts shaking just from vibration as the engine was tapped. cross finish line and decide not to wait and ride back the long way to pits through town lucky there were no cops around.
Head back to pits were dad was waiting for me, my mum had a smile and so did dad by this stage I guessed something was good.
Dad tells me you just hit 203 k's, Well that gave me a smile and a half that was my main goal to break the 200 mark,
After heaps of peoplecoming up and congratulating me on the speed I decided why not try break this time....
Head back out and do a Quarter mile standing run this time doing a time of 13.3
Back up hill again Deano gives me the all clear again to go exact same as last time maxing out at school and cross line and stop and talk to the Marshell at finsh he deserved a pat on back, I talked to him then after runs head back up to top
I decide to attempt some wheelies on the 125, I do one maybe 20cms of ground which was cool then up by school I did one more trying to show off no one probly even noticed but I did on landing managing to slam my nuts in the tank.
After stopping in a I hear I made a 204 in that run..
So overall a good weekend
Thanks to the organisers once again and everyone for turning up
