Greeetings and Salutations from a crusty old bugger....... Well only 50 but crusty anyway!!!!
Names David, I live in the Hutt Valley, Yeh I know, someone has to!
About me,
English born, NZ'er for 16years, 15 of which were down the deep south. OMG those roads :niceone:
I've ridden for 30+ years, first 9 I rode in the UK, summer and winter! After that I admit it, I semi-defected and learnt to drive a tin top. Bikes have always been my main transport, so I guess I'm a 'seasoned' rider? (beaten up, leathery, wrinkly and smells of bike oil/grease).
Current ride is an FJ1200 and love it, I think it's close to the 'ideal' bike for NZ roads. I'm learning the various 'rides' localy, but hope to meet up with a few Wellingtonians on here, for some company.
Anyway, thats enough about me,
C ya

Welcome along, enjoy the FJ, great bikes.
Don't take anything seriously on here, it almost always isn't meant that way! lol

sadly I'm dropping a neighbour at the Wellywood airport at 11:30am, so I can't make the ride. Thanks for the invite though!

Welcome to the madhouse.
Don't believe the stories of brilliant roads in Hawkes Bay - they're terrible. We only ride them cos 'someone has to'...

Welcome to KB David.

Take everything with a pinch of salt around here, but certainly hook up with the locals for the rides.
Great wheels, by the way!
