To advertise our off road bikes in this forum??? I know there is a for sale forum but figured more often the dirt bikers would check this forum over the for sale ones.

Just curious as i will be selling a bike or two over the next week or so.:bye:

Check with Mental_Trousers (site admin) or Cajun (one of the senior moderators) to give you the correct answer to your question.

You shouldn't, otherwise every damn specialist forum will fill up with For Sale ads.

No. That's what the Trading forum is for. Moderators will relocate any offending posts.

Trust me when I say that KB members read the posts in more than one forum. Indeed some of us don't read the forums at all.

How about an offroad section within the online trading forum?

You can already categorise and search based on style of bike.

Sorry frosty I disagree. I say leave it exactly as is. We are all pretty interested in everything anyone has to put forward on most subjects so leave them all in one thread I say. Save us trawling through more than one. Sometimes its not that busy in here anyway, probably because we get on together and we don't suffer the pointless crap that seems to go on on the other forums.

Just my 2 cents!

Pierce you can always change your Sig section to say your bikes up for sale. That will show on everyone of you're posts. I've seen heaps here doing it (don't know if its legal though).:devil2:

The only criteria that are policed in regard to signatures, are excessively large ones and/or big image file attachments. Otherwise the site's general rules relating to appropriateness of content apply.

Translation: If you want to use your signature field to advertise your bike, you can.

But that's not as effective as using the Trading forum, which links recently-added bikes for sale to the homepage.

I like that Idea, :niceone: would make it a lot easier looking through a thread that is more related to dirtbikes for help, advice.
