You dont know, You weren't there!
I see the above 'Statement' from time to time, in fact i quoted it yesterday when it was used by my good friend MDU.
Is it conceivable that when something contraversial gets posted on here and someone remarks on the posted incident that, that the 'poster' may have had a PM from someone who was there and saw exactly what happened?
IE: Hypothetically....Theres been a murder in a house, Detective Senior Sargent Jones is called to investigate...he does not know what happened cos he was not there at the time the murder took place. But by talking (not pm'ing in this case) to witness's, he is able to establish (make a pretty good judgement call) on what happened.
There are some members on here that would rather Not post in a thread thats getting colourful so they pm a friend who does. Loading the gun as it were...in happened alot in one particular thread last year.
RR over....:woohoo:

Ironically, one of my favourite statements is:
"You don't know. You're not the Police"
As you were.

kinda true Mark, but if they were put in the know from one person, then they only have one side of the story.
shorly only the media or a Politician would be that one eyed

There's always 3 sides to an argument, person #1's version, person #2's version and the truth. The more people involved in something the more versions of the same event you will hear. But the truth only comes out when an expert at finding the truth hears all versions. So if you haven't heard everybodies take on the event you haven't heard what really happened. In most cases, only the Police get to hear all versions.

In most cases, only the Police get to hear all versions. Then they leave out most of the truth when it's time to tell the jury.
