Have fun, and only believe the "serious threads"' infos...everything else is far from viable.

Hi Fellas, Girls,
Been wondering about those Hyosungs. Happy with it are you? Would you recomend one? Stack up alright next to jap bikes?Hey Craig.. Well, I haven't ridden any other modern larger road bikes so I can't compare. Soooo, I can tell you it looks like sex, sounds like a thunderclap, and goes like a haunted shithouse, but 'comparison' - no. It's rather hard to hold onto in 2nd gear at full tap and the front is rather light at full boogeh, and I haven't managed to redline it yet. The shop told be it was quicker than the suzy 650 vtwin. It is emphatically NOT a smooth engine - the mirrors are a blur (thunderclap!) with more than half throttle on, but idling around it's a kitten.
So yeah I like it a whole lot. Very much actually. I never thought I would own such a thing. I had to sell my jetboat to get this, but so far it's been a good tradeoff.
Yes, it has been interesting looking through the sites' various opinions and factoids.

edit: oh you have an R6. Yum.

Just got back from a hot return trip to rotovegas.. hands still getting sore, still freaking out a wee bit in the tight corners, but concentrating and getting it laid over properly 90% of the time. The other 10% of the corners I seem to remain shiny-side-up somehow.. :eek5: I'm still rehearsing every corner in my mind - it may be a while before I don't have to.
Do I ever get to relax and just ride ? or does such a thing not exist ? :scooter:

I really think you've got the wrong end of the stick with Cowpoos mate. He's a good guy. If you don't like what people say then just ignore it - if you want to make an enemy that's the point at which you give a redeye and you had better be prepared to take a lot of the shit that goes with it. If he was havin' a go at someone the chances are it was someone he knew in "Meatspace" rather than a random comment to a stranger from behind a keyboard.
Use this forum to meet other bikers and then the forum becomes a whole lot more fun coz you know how far you can push people for a laugh.
Welcome to KB....oh and by the way - we say Arsehole here - an asshole is an underground place for keeping donkeys:rofl:

Mate, for all his (half-hearted) shit-stirring, cowpoos does have a lot of valuable info. I don't care for his opinion.
I gave him some negative rep, and so he takes umbrage at me in my thread. Yeh right. Neg rep is part of the deal so he can get stuffed. He can neg rep me until the fucking sky turns black and I could not care less about such things.
Am interested in just how different the 650 Hyo's are different (apart from the engine D'uh!)Ok back to the good stuff.. I don't know how 'different' they are.. I have never had a highish performance road bike before, so I cannot compare. It looks nice, it goes really well, was low K's (920km) was cheap $6k. It's a hoot to ride - I suppose like many v-twin 650cc bikes would be.. so "different" I could not tell you.
Oh, and my wife has the 250cc one, so we have a near-identical his n' hers. So our front lawn looks like this ; http://pages.quicksilver.net.nz/paua/DSCF3138.JPG Awesome ay. ;-)

It seems that a thread I started elsewhere is strangely missing too.. deleted by admins ? why ?
edit: oh and since you were surprised by this - yes I have been married for nearly 25 years (to the same person no less - yes it was tough but I did it) and I have two teenage kids who are top academic achievers, and top sports persons (that was tough too but I did it.) I could go on about running by own business for 25 years too, but that is a small thing in comparison to interpersonal achievements.

I think the whole reputation thing is a load of old wank. Personally I'd like to see it gone because it seems to create a lot of animosity, but then again that's probably part of the reason it's there in the first place, to help keep things lively. I think you should use the rep feature as you see fit but don't take it too seriously in either the giving or receiving departments.
