The following is a caption beside an article in the business section on stuff.co.nz. This represents the breaking of the final straw for me using that site:

"DRAWN AND QUARTERED: Analysts are precicting(sic) Telecom's quartrely(sic) earnings to droy(sic) by as much as 25 per cent."

And while the staff at The Herald can at least press F7 to correct any typos, they can't seem to find the un-biased-reporting-about-things-that-matter key.

So I'm at a bit of a loss for local news and I'm wondering who you lot use.

I would prefer some with decent editors (minimal spelling/grammatical errors), objective reporting (if it exists) and a good clean layout.

Mate, there's a whole world out there that'll make local "news" seem rather trivial. However, if you don't like feeling depressed I think you might wanna stick to the local news - biased or not.

Maybe they should change their address to www.stfu.co.nz

Oh I know that, though I don't let real life depress me.
