we're just waiting for our visas for nz and all being well will be heading
to the cambridge area.
The bike (triumph T595 daytona) will be shipped and will hopefully arrive in one piece.
have we got any cambridge riders on here?
whats the biking scene like in the area, are there any regular runs or meeting places,bars/cafes that sort of thing?
Any cluds or groups who have regular run outs that i could tag on to ?
cheers all

There's a small number in Cambridge. Hamilton is just 10 minutes away though and there's quite a few of us there. Hamilton Motorcycle Club is the biggest in the area, or if you're old bugges you might want to hook up with the Ulysses Club.

there's a few in cambridge, te awamutu is close by and tauranga's just over the hill, so you'll be fine.
what are you coming over to do? dairy? aviation? electrical?

Hi Col from just down the road in Tokoroa (another expat albeit a long time ago). You're only an hour away from the famous Coromandel Peninsula biking mecca. You're just going to LOVE that!
Cheers,
Geoff.

Live a better life than i am doing at the moment here in the uk.
honestly i dont know yet, i'm a skilled cnc machine setter and turner. I've also done a fair bit of residential support work with kids and people with mental illness's but i'm open to anything at the moment

Nope, not yet. will be doing that as soon as visas arrive which cant be too much longer, i'm sick of bloody waiting. still its nice to know some countries are choosey about who they let in unlike here in the uk where they dont give a toss and allow any bugger to come in unchecked.(sorry rant over)
we're hoping to find somewhere to rent in cambridge/hamilton/te awamutu area while we look for a place to buy.
runour has it that you lot are all in bed for 9pm, does anyone ever go out to pubs or bars?
