The fan dangled adjustable rear shock that Gav sent up for me to try doesn't fit and the frame/sub-frame would require some serious modification to make it fit.

So, if there's anyone around Wellington that wants to check it out, let me know. Skunk, you've got first dibs if you're still keen.

Here's a pic & info from Gav:

The shock has 10mm bolt holes, and measures approx 255mm from centre to centre. Not sure what is off, Yamaha roadbike.

It's been absorbed by the process of osmosis and is now part of the Skunkworks building structure.:innocent:

It's sitting on the seat of my AX1R waiting for the front end to be assembled so I can turn it around and see if I can fit the said shock.

Tonight I hope.

Cool, thought it might have been posted back to my work. Seeing as I'm off work for a month, I'd have to go recover it.

How did you get on Skunk? If it doesn't suit, take it with you on Sunday...someone else might be keen.

Skunk

It can be made to suit... But I'm planning on offering it around on Sunday.

I need to check the spring rate against what I have, and see how what I have performs. How much we talking Gav?

gav

It should do tho,
More adjustment meaning you can alter it to suit and once you got a good setting at Slipway itl be sweet Slipways so nice anyway quite flat with no real bumps in it so I doubt youl have to do more than if you were serious set up the sag i guess
