Ducati Supersport 900 up for sale $8500, 39,500K's, (1998) - also listed on trademe at $8800

Has had all major services. Completely unmodified other than the mufflers which I think have been loudened a bit :msn-wink: - also I fitted an Autowatch 500RLi 4 star alarm (installed by SSS performance in PN and comes with 2 remotes)

Completely reliable, I have put the last 10,000K's on it (mostly open road), no breakdowns, always starts first try.

Running Continental Road Attack tyres with good tread remaining (only done 2000 odd on these) Ventura pack rack and headlamp protector will come with the bike.

Just coming up on the 40,000k service so I have booked it in with Motormart (30k service done by them also) for Wednesday 13th, if you want to service the bike yourself make me a lower offer before it goes in to the shop.

Cruises effortlessly at open road speeds, handles 2-up riding well also, have really enjoyed having it, my commute is only about 8 kilometers now though and all through heavy traffic so the big engine & tall gearing make it not quite the bike for the task. Will move to something a bit smaller I think.

All questions welcome, I can add more detailed photos if requested.
Cheers :niceone:

Not really sure, have got a few bikes in mind to try - all smaller capacity. But yeah, time to might move away from the big twin's for a little bit I think - an IL4 will be happier trundling around town at low speed and all the running from cold. The big engine of the SS takes a while to warm up too so in recent weeks the short distance to work now isn't really doing it justice. I will own a ducati again though, I have no doubt, a real blast to ride on open roads - it's great not even needing a downshift to pass traffic, just open it up and away you go.

Relisted: This time I am asking for a lot less but will be leaving the 40,000k service up to the new owner.
