Finally after the shit offer I had from Wellington m/c (Harley, triumph buell and Suzuki dealer) don’t ask why they are quoting on a Yamaha astounds me any way they came up with $9500 on a $12299 bike that’s used 2 tanks a gas we went back gave them shit and they came up trumps with an offer of $12000 less $1000 excess which leaves me $299 short on new one which has been ordered.
So it finally of riding next weekend cant wait been a loooooong time think were up around 90 odds days next week.

Congrats on getting the payout finally!
Just a quick question, a lot of policies (including some 3rd party, fire and theft policies) have a “New for Old” clause in them, which means that if you are the first owner, the insurance co buys you a brand spankers replacement for any total loss vehicle up to a certain age (normally 1 year). Have you double checked your policy wording to see if that applies to your policy? Could make the difference as to who pays that $299.

when they did the policy that they werent allowed to back date but did anyway (which is were all the probs ahve come from but kinda lucky they did) it was only done for $12000 so $12000 it is less the $1000 which is far better than $000000.00 and it needed a new rear tyre anyway was allmost totaled this way i get new set of tyres im just happy to get new bike not really fussed bout the $299 although the wife is she will just have to deal with it.

Good news, glad its almost over for you but what a hassle eh? The Riverhead ride is next Friday evening I believe but I have not double checked it as I've just returned from Wires Track and only just checking in here before cleaning up my gear for tomorrow.
Yeah just checked its the last twilight ride on Friday 15th. Good luck muscling a YZ450F around there if thats what you get lol!
