Was just reading the online Herald and spotted this (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/1/story.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10491739&ref=rss) article on gangs recruiting at Waitangi.
I found the accompanying picture interesting, so I did a Google image search for "terrorist". Compare the two attached images.

Contrasting points of view: You oppose gangs and terrorists, yet your signature seems to condone violence.
At least Shane Jones seems, in a rare case for an MP, to have some common sense:
The trip - to reconnect the youth with Maori culture - had the approval of police iwi liaison officers.
But Mr Jones said he was "dubious" about whether such a trip would change gang behaviour and attitudes, suggesting it might be better to "take them straight to Ngawha Prison and short-circuit their inevitable journey".

How do you come to the conclusion that I oppose gangs and terrorists? My post seeks neither to support or condemn the two groups, but merely to compare two images representative of two groups who use a culture of violence and intimidation to achieve their aims. I find the similarities in the images interesting.
My signature dosen't condone violence. It is taken from a 'Hatebreed' song which to me expresses a mantra for personal growth and renewal of spirit. I find it very uplifting.

... so ... you don't oppose terrorists?
I see your point about the article though. Covering the face for non religious or modesty reasons has got to raise questions. Just another dose of BS in a different wrapper.

Nah, just a small wind-up ;)
Hatebreed? Not an Electric Light Orchestra tribute band then? (Note: small joke. I'm a bit bored at work, which given I'm self employed is worrying...)

Better be careful what you say or I'll report you to your boss.

The only difference is the lack of an openly carried weapon. You can be sure that there is one though.
