Ordered my new clutch cable on Friday from Hamilton Motorcycles. It was picked up by NZ Couriers at 9:28am Friday morning, complete with shiny Saturday delivery ticket which I payed extra for so I'll have it the next day. There's reasons why I wanted it the next day, like so I'd have a vehicle to do the groceries, get to work and home in 45 minutes instead of the 2 hours public transport takes etc.

So Saturday comes and goes, I ring NZ Couriers: 'Where's my parcel?', "Ummm, we don't know'

And Sunday comes and goes: 'Where's my parcel?', "Ummm, we don't know'

And Monday comes and goes: 'Where's my parcel?', "Ummm, we still don't know'

They don't even know where in NZ it is!

@#$%^& useless courier bast**ds!!!

Do you have the ticket number? Can you track it on line? Get the shop to lodge a proforma claim. Quickest way to get your stuff found by couriers.

Next time use courier post. I run a buisness and send parcels all over the country. Never had anything go missing or not turn up on time. Have brought a few things off trademe and sellers have used a range of other couriers. Some times it takes days to arrive. Just not good enough. I am in South Canterbury and I can have a parcel sent from Auckland by five pm and 8.30 am its sitting on my door step. Fantastic service. Keep on thier back and hassell them until you get results!

Well good news, my clutch cable magically appeared in my letter box last night.
I hadn't heard from the courier company to say they had found it, and I had asked for it to be redirected to work as there wasn't going to be anyone home during business hours but I'm glad to finally have it and be mobile again.

That's a good resolution.

Courierpost managed to lose a set of contact lenses that were coming all the way from Mangawhai. When I chased them up the courier who claimed to deliver the lenses said he couldn't remember anything about the delivery, cos he'd done so many since then.

It was the following day.

Yeah, but everyone knows how easy it is to lose contact lenses!

Amusingly the lady from NZ Couriers who was following up my 'query' about my missing parcel rang again this morning to apologies further because they still didn't know where my parcel was.

This was over 12 hours after it was delivered. And it still doesn't show in track and trace and having even arrived in Wellington.

I had a box of contacts sent from AKL to meet me in the south island when we were on our trip.

They turned up two months later. Somehow, Queenstown got confused for Israel. (seriously).

Hmmm...
I had an important parcel to send across town before Xmas (oldest son's uni assignment).
The kind lady at NZ Post said the best way to send it was "Track & Trace".
The morons kept trying to deliver it to the university before 8AM, on Saturdays, etc. etc. After three phone calls from me to sort it out, they tried delivering it at a more sensible time.

It arrived 3 weeks after I sent it.
I told them it would've been quicker for me to have strapped it to the back of a blind two-legged dog...

Well I have just this minute had 2 parcels collected from work that were rung in for collection with NZ Couriers yesterday at 10.00am using their automated booking system.:nono:
Usually they have been bloody brilliant but lately its been rather shoddy
Love it when my clients start to call me with the "where is it?" calls. Grrrrrr
