Zoolander

Oi!!! Watched you today ripping around Newtown like it's your own little racetrack, even came back around for another lap. At 3:15 in the afternoon too, right when all the kids are walking home from school. You wanna play Rossi, then take it to the track dipshit. No wonder bikers get a bad rap. Tosser.

Be careful Zoolander... your post might incur the wrath of the "worry about yourself...he can do what he likes brigade!"

Zoolander was actually showing a bit of "worrying about the safety of others" and those others being kids I fully support his public condemnation - so that brigade can fark off.
Prepared to ride like a tosser in an area where you could end up hurting someone (especially kids) you deserve to be named and shamed...my 10c

So instead we should all bury our heads then? The people concerned certainly won't care if we all just continue to ignore them.

I'm mystified as to what anyone thinks whining on an Internet forum will actually achieve.
Or is it just that you all miss telling on the other kids at school so much that you can't help yourself?
If you're worried about "other people's safety" (they don't care about yours remember) then you could either, A. ring the Cops or, B. knock him off, because those really are the only things that will work. Don't bother with point A. if you don't have the balls to fill in the complaint form and turn up to court.

Hint for you and most Mums should really relay this one to their daughters at the age of 3 or so: If someone doesn't want to change they can't be changed.
If Zoolander actually had any integrity at all, he would have rung the cops immediately and laid a formal complaint and gathered witnesses so that he had some credibility in court.
That is the avenue open to all of us.
Whining about other people's behaviour on an Internet forum is only slightly less pointless than sending Amy Winehouse to rehab.

Welcome back
CHANGE is inevitable it's GROWTH that's optional - people do need to decide/want to GROW but there is always a dynamic immune system at work that ensures people don't really have to consider growth too seriously...everyone else ignoring their behaviour and being all apathetic about 'whether they will receive the message or not' contributes to that system.

Jim2 take your own advice and keep your opinions to yourself then :)
Zoolanders got every right to voice an opinion, has nothing to do with integrity. People are busy, who has time to go the whole 9 yards for every incident.
Showing disapproval may not change hardcore behaviour but venting such opinion my go towards causing others to reflect on their riding behaviour. Like it or not Every bikers behaviour reflects on all of us. welcome to the word of minorities.

Yawn. Can't ring the cops when I'm a) at work, b) too far away to get his plate number. Just posted in the hope he might see and think about the safety of schoolkids in the future. Only too happy to report him if I see it again and can get his details. Not interested in starting a shit-flinging match, just putting it out there for him to (hopefully) see.
And nah, not the locksmith guy, was a CBR900 in the purple colour scheme. Said my bit, not interested in pointless debates.

This (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=55021&highlight=locksmith) one, sounds like a different bike though.

Think I personally know the person you are talking about. If it is who I pretty much know it must be then they dont hang out on here. Would have been much more effective to whine directly to him, or call the cops. Moaning here is falling on deaf ears as he is never gonna find out about this thread..... People are idiots, they are selfish and will never learn unless something actually personally happens to them. SOmetimes its to late then but aint nothing you can do to stop them unfortunately.

If this is the infamous "Newtown Ghost Rider" at it again then I heard he got the message after the previous thread however I also heard it served to boost his ego somewhat. Nett result of that thread was that some KiwiBikers ended up slanging each other off, the LockShop guy got wrongfully vilified through this forum and the "N.G.R." no doubt sat back and laughed, just as he is possibly doing now.
Not saying this sort of behaviour shouldn't be brought up here, just make sure you are picking on the right guy and have the balls to do something about it other than just posting it in here.

A GRUBby Naked Honda rider doing angle grinder adjustments to his knee sliders and then going on to ride like a twat near the hospital.
Dont he know there aint no doctors there anymore so if he does have an off (to increase slider scars ) he will have to be taken to a close at hand corridor where he can gather up a crowd to gloat about his daily activity.
Jeeez and all i do is work during the day and im retired from racing too .....

Wow, this has snowballed quickly!! Rest assured if I ever see somebody ripping around the streets during after school time, and have the opportunity to confront them I will do so. They may tell me to fuck off, or they may listen, who knows. I posted on here because I thought the guy might actually read it and think about it. If he doesn't he doesn't. I don't intend to pick on anyone because I don't know who it was! I'd just hate to hear about somebodies kid being collected by a speeding bike. So maybe this doesn't achieve anything but at least I got my opinion out there, which is what its all about.
Nice ride too by the way et al (the S4RS)

Yes, that is what happens unfortunately. Sorry if I came on a bit strong, just that your original post did not identify the bike/rider properly hence you were implicating any number of people (one of my sons included). Also pissed off that the LockShop guy is being implicated again when clearly it could not be him - is something of an "in joke" for Welly people I guess, but not fair on him.

You know why people whine on the net?
It's usually because they want some sort of confirmation that there are other people out there that care or share the same view.
