Awesome!

1999 SV650S

Two Brothers full system, heated grips, 40,000KM. Mint except for one crack near the indicator.

Great fun riding it. Goes well at anywhere in the rev range and in any gear, no need to drop two gears and WOT it to overtake a car :)

 You will too!

I got me a silver one - first thing I did though was remove those stickers on the fairing ...looks much nicer (IMO)

Enjoy it...they are very lovely machines and those pipes make them growl so nicely...I just love hearing and riding my one:shifty:

So grand to be able to pass almost anywhere too :woohoo:

Yep, a sweet machine in deed. Gonna get rid of the pack rack though.

hows the power delivery in comparison to the 400 sports??

breakaway
11th February 2008, 19:03
Smooth. Pulls hard at just about everywhere on the rev range, and I can easily overtake cars at sensible speeds without having to switch down like I would have to on the 400.

Nice dude, I welcome you to the "I got a new bike woohoo!" club, population, us!
Look forward to seeing your yellow beast on some kb rides in the future

/edit: don't lose the packrack man, get a bag for it, enough to hold a 6pack of your favourite carbonated beverage/change of clothes/wet weather gear. I don't know what I would do without one!

Hmm, I will consider it. For now though, I'll put it on trademe for an outrageously high price and if it sells, then sweet :bleh:

Gonna get rid of the pack rack though.

Don't get rid of it, you'll love it for touring but you can take the rack out and get some little bungs for the ends of the pipes. Looks cool and you can't tell it's there.

Add about 14 years and and about more R's and we have a deal :p

I could probably never bring myself to sell the 400. Too much sentimental value :third:

hey there breakaway,

Great looking bike man. Love the colour. I agree with what some said earlier about losing the sticker near the indicators. It would uncluter the look and make that solid gold/yellow colour really stand out. :Punk:
