Hi everyone.
I just passed my Basic Handling Skills and am waiting for the cert. to turn up so I can rush in and do my scratchies.
I took the bike out for a ride this arvo and it was great! The bike was getting lonely under cover.. :innocent:
I'm so looking forward to meeting people here and out on the road eventually (when I get up the confidence to go further afield!)

Thanks people for the welcome. Yeah, I sure hope the rubber sticks to the road! I quite like my bits the way they are.. I've already had a whoops! The flamin' bike starts without the clutch engaged and shows the 'N' on the dash when it is in gear sometimes!!! Piss me off!
Cheers,
Mavis

Which do i come under hunny? :dodge:
Welcome to KB Mavis, shiny side up rubber side down and all that. I can say after much research and many trials that fairings do not have as much grip as tyres

Congratulations.
I'll also add, be wary of all the people taking the piss on this site... Take everything people say to you with a grain of salt...
Keeps your sodium levels up too, after all the sweating in your gear.
Because of course you'll always be wearing full protective gear, right? :bleh:

Absolutely! Any clues as to how to clean all the armoured plating? I don't usually sweat and it's YUK!!!!

Learn how to take it out of your gear easily so you can wipe it down, and better yet, put it back right... That's about my guess. I'm cold blooded so I generally need all the warmth my gear can give me.
Any other KB out there with advice on that one?
