there is a digger sitting in the middle of the of the paddock, and if you look you can see the pegs marking the track layout near the grass embankment which will be part of the spectator area, which is were I will be.
Don't think it would take them long to form up the track, well I hope not anyway, they still have to put up some Grandstands as well, how many are they hoping to get
Woohoo roll on Saturday and then, Paeroa Sunday what a weekend.

I was thinking one of those time lapse videos of the track build would have been awesome to watch.
Can't wait, if its a success maybe they will look to stage it in the Vector Arena next time.

Its a bit gut wrenching that the track is only being built for one nights racing. Pity it couldn't stay there and there be a monthly/bi-monthly meeting held there.
I so miss Taupiri!
Still, i'll be there, booked my tickets November '07 :niceone:

i've seen it, i don't think its any smaller than the old Taupiri track. Supecross is always tight racing, it's desinged to go in stadiums afterall. Will be awesome racing

its a bit wider than taupiri, and an extra lane,
should be a bit easier to pass on as well
