Newbie in NZ's question:
1) my reg running til 5th of March, but still did not received the renewal paper. How long does it take to got it approximatly? or do I need to do something to got it?
2) Does anyone know a cheap place to got my WOF done around Auckland and Matakana/Warkworth? What are they looking at: brakes, tyres, etc?
Thanks for helping!

Hi Xile
Ring Jim at Wilmot Motors in Warkworth. He does our bike WOF for us.
Dont stress about not getting renewal papers for you bike, just go into Take Note and they have the forms there for you to use.

I just go to the testing station and renew my rego, you don't have to have a renewal form sent to you (they have the forms in the testing stations)
I also believe you can get them at the post shop, but am not 100% sure.

If your renewal notice doesn't turn up, you can still go into an NZ post shop and fill out one of their forms.
I get my WOF's at Action bike wreckers on Barry's Pt rd in Takapuna, if you get down this way during the week. He's quick and will do it on the spot.

C, make sure you get this done before they expire. I forget which way around every time, but you need to have a valid WOF to get your rego, or you need to have a valid rego to get your WOF (I cant remember), but if you go and do it before one of them expires, you wont have any trouble. :sunny:

Yes yes, I did appear just before 12 one day and he was moaning to me about all the people who turn up at lunch! Heh.

Sure years? Either it hasn't been working for me, or i've been using it wrong (not a good look with a few years of IT under my belt :P)

Haha yes mate at least 2 I'd say, I chuck the reminder notice they send in the mail all the time and do it online, so much better don't have to wait in the queue.
Just don't fill in the reminder notice field and ignore it, go through the process. Pretty good it generally gets delivered within 5 days. Downside, they don't send you labels (pockets) or holders obviously but you can always pop in and get them if you want to.
