Aftermarket stuff?

I've looked at all the forums and I'm still not sure where to put this so feel free to feck it off to somewhere else if you must.

A quick question guys, where do you buy your after market stuff? I'm talking exhausts,fairings,crash bars and the like.

I've googlewoogled for NZ based Accessory suppliers but didn't get much joy.

So you want a rear hugger for a GSXR600 or handle bar risers for a v-max, where do yawl go?

Thanx mate,I was afraid that was gonna be the answer,I've only got a couple of small bike shops where I live,I doubt they'll know whats available for my bike.

The internet is your friend. Ordered lots of stuff from the US as it works out way cheaper than buying from our local add on 300% bike shops. I have used these guys with great success http://www.starcycle-usa.com/servlet/StoreFront

You could try www.bikestore.co.nz they can get a fair bit of stuff. E-mail 'em if what you want is not on the website.

I have done the same as iwild for the same reasons. I have used different supplier as I have different bike but it sounds the same. There is big mark-ups here in NZ if you can get certain items here. Go to websites that have forums in the USA for the type of bike you have and by participating and asking you can find out where to get parts for your make and model. Make use of the internet and your credit card. If you are unsure about big freight costs - just email them and they will get back to you.

+ 1 sadly due perhaps to the volume of purchases NZ doesn't get premium rates hence big markups. There are also some cowboys who freeload on that assumption. I buy overseas.:rockon:

OK,well that's a bit disappointing, I used to use one in the UK called , m and p. It's got just about everything there is to stick on a bike, worth a look to see what's actually available for your bike.

Yip I guess it's down to having a small motorcycle community down here not enuf dollars profit eh.
