My wife has the Ixon cheek jacket, hasnt crash tested it but it seems to be really good quality. It was the only jacket she felt really well protected and comfortable in when she tried it on. She is going to get the luna pants to go with the jacket.

If your going to be riding alot, buy RJays. Ixon is shit. My first set of gear was all Ixon and it keeps falling apart. The velcro doesn't last long, the zips break and the stitching around the straps on the gloves has ripped apart.
Quasimoto has a brillant range of top quality gear.

:2thumbsup: I'm very happy with my Ixon Cheek jacket, done over 6000kms since May 07. Found it to be very waterproof, went to Napier in May, it poured down most the ride there but only felt slightly damp on the arms. It didn't take long to dry out either. Very warm as well so have taken the liner out for summer.

Huh? I'm slightly confused, is ixon good or bad? The jacket sounds great now, but if the zips are gonna fall apart, thats not too great.

I'm just commenting on the experiences I've had with Ixon gear so far.
Do date: Zip on the side of the "Climber" pants has broken three times (the part you pull on came away in my hand). The same thing happened with the main zip on the "Access" jacket. The stitching is coming apart on the lefthand "Pro Tour" glove. The velcro on the righthand glove doesn't stick that well anymore.
This is after 6 months of riding.
It maybe that I'm hard on my gear. Personally I don't think I am, I haven't any problems with my other riding gear.
I suggest going round some of the bike shops and have a look at what some of the other brands are offering first.

I wear an RJays jacket and revit pants, and I would say that the wifes ixon cheek jacket is much higher quality than my gear.

I'm sorry chic'n'charge, i'm a size 8 in normal pants, so i don't think i'd fit a medium. I'm a little bit small, or i'd love to buy your pants

My Ixon gloves have held up well.
Of all the gear I've got the Rjays pants have been the absolute worst.
Massive improvement when I got some Revit pants to repalce them.

I fell off at about 100KM/h and my ixon jacket held up extremely well. I still use it.
