I dunno, but if I have no leccy then I can't work. I wouldn't rely on the fucktards at Meriden or wait on the jobsworths in the Beehive to sort anything out.

You have to remember that every time that an electricity generator (Meridian, Contact, etc) want to build a new thermal power station (i.e. near Kaipara) or upgrade an existing station currently in mothballs in order for it to be used (i.e. Marsden B) or to build a new hydro station (i.e. the Project Aqua scheme on the Waitaki River), Greenpeace and their buddies are straight off to court to appeal each and every scheme. Combine that and the tight confines of the Resource Management Act, and it is incredibly hard to build a new baseload thermal or hydro plant.
