Just how old are you? Is 50 young for a Harley rider?

40!? Is that your next age crisis?

Shit, you are older than I thought! Should have got a walk frame, not a Kawa Ninja!

Had I actually bought a Harley when I was looking to buy one, I'd be about the youngest one on a Harley in the country :P

Unfortunately for my tastes, I could afford a harley - just not the one I wanted haha.

Next bike will be a Harley though. Yeap, sure will. And before I hit the next double digit.

of course im happy, owned a honda before this and would never go back to it, i know since your honda loyal you will defend it but i really cant even compare a harley to a honda. harleys kick ass and they also sound like a motorcycle should....not like a space ship

Come for a ride with us some time. I have a single as well as a few fours. I've riden Harleys, it's just not me, way overprice and overrated IMHO. Its not Harleys either btw I'm not into sprot bikes or cruisers. But basicly I'll ride anything but I prefer to buy other folks cast offs, which can be picked up real cheap and use them till they are no longer usausable or someone makes an offer I couldn't refuse.

i must admit the main reason for getting a harley was all my family and friends have got harleys and are pretty loyal.

i owned a cbr400, liked it but didnt love it..........with the harley i always look foward to riding and always get a real rush out of riding it......

the bike has a 17 ltr tank as apposed to the standard sporty (has a 13 ltr tank), since the bike doesnt have a fuel gauge (the only thing that annoys me about harleys ) i just fill it up once a week so i dont have a chance of running out

It should be quite fugal fuel wise. All mine lack fuel gauges too but it's no biggy. You get an idea how far you can go after a while. I just reset the odometer at every fuel stop.

Yeah 43 also, but that's young.
Compared to really really old people.

Anyway, I never really grew up, I just learned how to behave in public.

And pretty soon I'm gonna try it.

Hmm, that post looks like it was posted by one of jimjims boys seeing as how it is preoccupied with a needless mention of a term like like 'horsepower'....

Chrissie-Bimbo (CB) gets about 200km out of her 1200 Sportster 'S' and then has to start looking for a gas station.

It's thirstier than my 1450 Dyna T-Sport....go figure. (But it's also quicker and more nimble)
Oh, and I am one of those 'old' Harley riders, a mere 55 years old. (CB is younger by four years..)

Once you figure its range you can set the trip-meter and just keep an eye on it, no need for guage....take it from an old Sportster rider.

Yup, the same value should be applied to anybodies favourite brand of bike.

It's a rare day I'd knock another brand of bike - or a guy 'cos he rode a different breed to mine.
