got a $2700 polini and want to ride it more than just once a month:( so i was wondering where you guys ride ur bikes on none track days????

good question id be interested to hear as well, there are heaps of places people have been kicked off of. New sub dividsions are good but few and far between, industrial estates on a sunday?

years ago supermarket carparks were the place to go but they are open 24 hrs now

There is a thread in the wannabe and newbe bikers forum about places to ride.
Some are just deserted roads but the sultan street carpark has some good ashphalt and the carpark building is really easy to get into.

i go up and down my road but my bike is not even trying at 45km/h so i can only go 80km/h at a race day..........:( and ive got not suspension......:pinch: mt welly this week though.....!!!!!!!!!!!:niceone:

cant wait for mt wellington. ive tape up all the metal bits and the sidestand has been removed by brute force. the ellerslie race course have a nice big car park with smoothish ashphalt.

$2,700 would get you a nice little RG150 and loads of change to spare and you could ride it at 100kph on the open road as much as you like! If you were a lawless type however you could probably head for the hunuas and the dizzy heights of 160kph.

At 13 years old I dont think they will be riding a RG150 on the road.... and then to do track days on them it'll set ya back $250-800 per meet...... cheeper to race a minimoto for these young fellers.
