Today I moved into a new flat, the flatmates are all out at work or uni, the only thing home is - or should I say was - the dog. She isn't allowed out of the house. Cute little housedog. Chases seagulls. For kilometers. Therefore not allowed out of the house.
I didn't know!

So as I am shifting my boxes from the car to the house, the dog runs away.
BUGGER!

Texted the new flatmates, they are NOT impressed.
Wasn't my fault really, I didn't know!
Hopefully it'll come back, I must have called and searched for it in the surrounding blocks for an hour or so.

Not a good start to a new place.

Kinda funny though, in a cringe-worthy kind of way.

Are the new flatmates female and are they hot? If so, this thread is useless without pics! :oi-grr:

Actually, yes, and exactly my type (Brunette french-bob, advanced Uni degree, busty, yet tomboyish.)
Sadly engaged to one of the other flatmates.

All hope is not lost then, better than being happily engaged to one of the other flatmates, or sadly/happily married. Although not off to a good start losing the Dog ...

lol.. not a good start.. however, good that poochie was found!

hmmm makes me think of a friend's dog that does the same thing.. but with cats... lol.. damned house dogs...

when I get a dog I'm going to make sure that it has a yard thats fenced in (and that it's not a tiny fluffy little rat-dog... though i DO still think they're adorable ^_^)
