True story, happened last night.
Well, I decided to purchase a vacuum cleaner for the garage as I was sick of trying to brush & pan alloy filings and dust.
So, off to TM and look through. Found one for $20 that looked good. Did the Buy-now, got in contact with the female and arranged a time to go see her.
Alrighties, went off with Mrs Nudie to look for the place. This was up a very tight and twisty road which was difficult to see the letter boxes. Anyway, we found what we thought was the right one.
There was an upstairs flat, a downstairs flat and a house a wee way down a driveway a bit further down.
We approach the upstairs, only to be told by the resident “oh, she lives down there”.
So (I can put the blame here !!), Mrs Nudie says, “alrighties, must be down there” pointing to the driveway.
Down the driveway we go, knock on the door and a young boy answers.
We say we’re here to pick up the vacuum. The boy calls out to his mum and then says to us she’s in the bath. We thought this a little odd considering we had arranged to come over and get the vacuum, but thought, oh well not a prob.
Anyway, he’s calling out to her and she’s not really saying much back (we can't hear what she’s saying).
He goes and gets the vacuum. Looks pretty good for $20 !!!
We test it, goes well, hand him the $20 ( he still looks a little puzzled) and off we go.
Half way up the driveway with the vacuum, a lady comes running after us wearing only her towel yelling to us “That’s my vacuum cleaner and it ain’t for sale !!!!!”.
So we go back down and we all figure out we went to the wrong place !!!!!!!!!!!
We all have a little laugh and hand her back her vacuum. :rolleyes:
Off to the correct place, do the transaction for a vacuum cleaner that isn’t as good and off we go.
Both of us couldn’t stop laughing all the way home !!!

Moral of the story:- make sure you know where you're going.
