last week i lowsided a bike due to some wanker not giving way at a round about:angry2:, cosmetically the bike is fine (my helmet is not) but this morning and the past few days my bike well has not been the same.
what damage can be done to a bike when you lowside it engine wise?
and yes i killed the bike as the road jumped up and kissed me.

Shouldn't hurt it. BUT - you may have stirred up some sediment in the carbs or tank, which could possibly cause you some bother. Sadly, "my bike has not been the same" is a very vague description of your problem...
Is it down on power?
Is it misfiring?
Hard to change gear?
Revs but doesn't accelerate?
If it's down on power and/or misfiring, try turning OFF your fuel tap, then drain the carbs (should have a screw or hex nut that can be undone on the bottom of the carb float bowls). If you can, try and catch what comes out, and look for signs of brown stuff (rusty/dirty water, dirt, etc.). You can even try turning the fuel tap on, while float drains are open - to help flush out any remaining dirt... DO THIS WITH A COLD ENGINE! ...and outdoors too!
Good luck.

to be exact after alot of encouragement a strong smell of fuel and almost killing the battery she fires up revs at about 6000rpm (no guage to say exactly how high) then just dies, no backfire to suggest flooding of the engine even tried to reset the idle as its revving but no success.
going to attempt to get it out east tonight after peak hour traffic to take it to the mechanic
really think its a lost cause fucking lemon bike.

Hmmm - sounds like stuck carb floats, or a choke cable or similar has come unseated or been stretched, or got squashed/pinched... ...possibly even the throttle cable (so carbs are held wide open).
2 or 3 things to try - get someone to work the choke cable (and/or throttle) on and off (if you can't work it and watch bits yourself), while you check that the bits on the carbs are opening/closing OK - get a bit of steel (like a 1/2" drive power bar - or even steel pipe) 250mm or so long, and give the carb float bowls a couple of GOOD raps, then try starting...
Do a visual check on all cables connecting to the carbs - make sure they're not kinked anywhere.
DON'T lose heart - it's not a lemon - just sulking about being dropped. I doubt that it will turn out to be anything major... :mobile:
