Well guys and girls, I have decided to bite the bullet and sell my bike. It is a fantastic example of the first model, has only 10,500km, and is the tidiest one I have seen. I have just had new tyres fitted, they are Michelin Pilot Power 2cts and are not even fully scrubbed in yet. I will get a new WOF and rego for the buyer plus I'll do an oil and filter change too.

Why am I selling? Well I have a recurring injury from work in my arm and I just don't enjoy the low sportsbike bars anymore. So will be buying something with a more relaxed riding position (something cool though, I haven't gone soft yet!!)

Its pretty clean huh, right now it gets cleaned more than ridden :(

I use a good quality car wash to clean then WD-40/CRC or sim on the alloy parts. Fairings get polished with Mothers 3 stage kit, $$$$ but man its good stuff. Lots of elbow grease too!

It will go on tard me if it doesn't sell here but as I say I wanted to offer it cheaper here first, price is cheap because I want to buy something else soon and get riding again, before summer is gone!

Yea you caught me, actually its not even an R1 at all, its a scungy old GN250 with a rusty frame and no wheels. But don't tell anyone.....

Hmmmm i'm sensing a bit of a lull in the used bike market..... so price lowered to $8500.00. Check it out, you will not find a tidier example, low ks, new tyres, i'll service it before it goes, it will have new wof and rego, NZ new...... i'll kick myself one day when its a classic, but it must sell so I can buy my new bike. Wish I could afford to keep 2 though....:crybaby:

Ahhh, gotcha, well its naked and not a jappa..... something completely different really, all i've ever really owned are sportsbikes so its time for a change..... if I sell the R1 then watch this space!!

About 183cm, whats that 5'11ish? The seats not as high as you might think, I get both feet flat on the ground and its not a stretch. How tall are you? Welcome to come round and have a sit if you like.
