Well, I went for my first REAL night ride tonight! And it was Great!!!:2thumbsup
Oh I'm really getting the hang of this!! Yeah!
On a different note, I took the bike into the shop today because I have a few little niggles with it... I've just clocked up 600 k's and the gears are stiff and I'm having trouble finding neutral. Any rate, the bike shop owner gets on and goes for a little test ride and Whew! comes back and says.. hmm.. yes, it's not you, there definitely is something not right there. We'll have a look at it. So cool! I take it in next week and hopefully they can sort it! They adjusted the clutch while I was in there and now it behaves completely differently!:Oi:

I'm assuming by saying it's behaving differently with a giant "oi" bearing emoticon your clutch is now behaving in a way you don't like?
But congratulations on the ride. Good on ya! :niceone:

New Hyo's sometimes have problems with being able to find the neutral. Goes away as the gearbox loosens up.....
And it's a different feeling riding at night time. I like it, as I have to do it on a regular basis coming home from work at all hours of the morning....

Yeah. I got used to how it was after 600k and then he changes it COMPLETELY! And it kind of goes all the way out of it's travel before disengaging quite suddenly now.. :oi-grr: Guess I'll just have to get used to it all over again...
Loved the night ride though.. Heh! Went to the parent forum at the High School my kids attend (3rd & 4th formers - or yr 9 & 10 to the youngies!) on our bikes and it finished about 9pm, so we came back home in the dark. I loved it! The principal called us 'Temporary Citizens'! Ha! Wonder if that means he has the magic pill?

That's the opinion of my principal on me. I'm one of the "big" kids, seventh former, and she's probably certain that anything bad that happens in the school is directly related to me... Long story.
And magic pill? Huh? What?

Yeah, magic pill... perhaps he thinks he isn't a 'temporary citizen'! Aren't we all? Unless he has a magic pill!

I did my first night ride the other night.. It was a little intense to be honest. But that could of been cause I was not totally legal at the time (was still waiting to do my bhs test) and worried the fuzz was gonna speed up behind me and do me in... lmao. I really must get rid of the need to live dangerously before the kids realise I have a "bad girl" inside. :2guns:
So has your bike gone in yet? Have you got it back yet etc? Details girlfriend details???

My bike has been in for it's first service and I got it back on Monday! Yayyy! They worked the gears a bit and did some adjusting of the clutch I think, but as it's been raining cats and dogs here I haven't had it out for a decent run yet! Today was better weather wise, but I had to do some work!!
Hahaha... Your kids will work that out before you even know it!! Mine have already! My 13 year old daughter (nearly 14) wanted to borrow my LBD on the weekend!!!! WTF? NOT EVEN!!!!! LOL
