Cheap golf courses in lower S.I.?

Mrs Oakie and I are going on a bit of a tour for a week in March and are looking for golf courses with 'cheap' green fees to play on. We're doing Christchurch > Temuka > Wanaka > Lumsden > Dunedin > Oamaru > Christchurch. Can anyone recommend any courses along that route with green fees at say $25 or under for non-affiliated players? The quality or length of the courses isn't really important as long as they're not so bad we'd break clubs on them.

Waimate has an outstanding golf course. Just 8km off sytatehighway one. I think green fees are $15
