700cc LC4 motor, titanium this, carbon fibre that...2nd in the Baja 1000.
Similar mechanicals to the latest KTM Dakar bikes but without the beaten-with-the-ugly-stick fairing. I'm still wiping the drool off my keyboard...

Huge cans for a dirt bike supposidly riding where no one can hear.Baja bikes used to carry lots of lighting, don't they ride at night anymore? Or is that headlamp better than it looks.

The headlight will be HID, I think a lot of the Baja racers use HID helmet lights too. tlronny, if ya wanna see an ugly headlight setup do a search on KTM 660 Rallye :puke:

See the hoooooogge pipe between the front and rear tanks!

Big cans can carry big sponsers stickers.
Twin cans means you can see the sticker from either side.

Yup, the XR650R has been ruling Baja for a few years, A bit like KTM have been all over the Paris-Dakar lately. I'll still take the KTM thanks, It'll be easier to retrofit an electric start
