Here's the first look at the new V4 Aprilia, over 200hp in superbike trim.
I'd choose a different colour though...

Now that is freakin' stunning, well side on at least, Aprillia tend to ugly their bike up a wee bit in the front like....

I don't think you can compare it to the Ducati V4. The Aprilia is aimed at WSB. Given the problems that Honda has sorting the RC45 to be competitive, I hope it doesn't turn out to be no more than a marketing exercise.

The RC30 was one of the most successful racers of the era. It's next incarnation, the RC45, was also very successful only limited by some geometry issues which took some initial sorting. Kocinski won 1 WSBK championship and Slighty shoulda won at least another. This along with several IOM TT's and AMA titles prove it was no Petronas. The engine was always a standout.
Ducati's first racing V4 foray was competitive straight off the bat so there are no excuses if Aprilia isn't be the same.
