Newbie looking for someone to ride with

Hi there, just brought a bike Hyosung Aquila GV 250 after putting it off for 25 years! Previously played around on bikes in my late teens for a few years and thought that would be the end of it but here I am and having a great time. I live in Christchurch and was wondering if anyone would like to come for a ride sometime??

Hello and welcome, Carol. Glad to see you have a :2thumbsup Hyosung - mine is a fast little bugger and I am happy I have it. The Aquila is a very nice looking bike.

If I was in Chch I would join you for a ride but hopefully someone will pop up to your request. It sure helps to improve your skills when going with others who are experienced. Just take it slow and extra careful, and PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE those tight curves and corners, braking, downshifting, etc.

And wear protection - my mate came off recently but his motorcross knee guards saved him (he is a Learner and went into a 90 degree corner too fast, panicked and slammed on the front brake with the clutch in, over the bars - ouch!). BTW, your 25 years of putting off getting a bike is 30+ years for me. I had two big bikes overseas but did not transfer my MC license when coming to NZ. :weep:
