Wairarapa Rides

You're all invited ... on The Great North Island Loop Ride (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?p=1448991#post1448991) which will take place on Saturday and Sunday 15/16th March overnighting at Taupo's Great Lake Holiday Park (http://www.greatlake.net.nz/accom.cfm?listingid=00026330) ($25ea in a cabin).

The ride is starting at Rimutex, coming over the hill and going north and we'd love to meet up and ride with the 'rapa crew since you often come and ride with us.

We know it's the Cliffhanger, this started because someone wanted company on a ride to Taupo he had to make. If the Cliffhanger isn't your thing, maybe part of this ride is.

Would like to but will be the rapa rumble/hillclimb on same weekend,come over and stay the night or 2 ,party and will go for rides wherever for those not wantings to go racing up hilly rapa country side .

MASTERTON - Every Wednesday at 6 pm there is a group ride leaving from Langlands Motorcycles - on the main road north end of town. Riders are mostly very experienced and fast but sometimes slower ones join and thats ok. Ring or stop in at Langlands to be put on the list - they will send a text message on Monday giving ride details - no need to register, though.

Wed March 5 ride is to Castlepoint. Pub stops the norm.

Okay people, 2nd cabin is booked. So we have spots available...

Details on departure and meet up times (with the Manawatu and HB riders) that are coming will be posted shortly.

I'll join you at Featherston, maybe Rimutex or the summit, through to Masterton or beyond. Maybe I can get a few others to come with me.

No you don't need a Honda to join, just give Langlands your cellphone number so they can text about the ride - this week's ride was canceled due to rain. Most of the guys are fast bat-outta-hell racer types so its not a cruisy laid back group ride, but I and my friends stayed in the back and still enjoyed being there.

- Assemble Rimutex 8:30am
- Depart Rimutex 9:00am
- Eketahuna approx 10:45
- Dannevirke approx 11:45
- Taradale/Napier 1:15pm
- Lunch Napier Waterfront by the Marina
- Depart Napier 2:15pm
- Taupo 4:15pm
- Overnight at the Great Lakes Holiday Park
