Ballymoney Bike Fest, which proved a popular attraction in the build-up to the North West '200' last year, will be repeated in 2005.

Next years' Fest will run from May 16 to 22. The aim is to co-ordinate a series of events around the theme of the motorbike and the motorbike race where possible.

A spokesperson for the Town Centre Management commented: "We are confident the event will get bigger and better."

Thanks for mentioning us!!! Great to hear that news of our festival has reached as far away as New Zealand! Please visit www.ballymoneybikefest.com for information on this year's festival, just in case any of you kiwis are visiting around the NW200. Our town is only 8 miles from the NW200 track and is home to many motorcycle heroes, not least of all, Sir Joey, OBE, MBE. The Joey Dunlop Memorial Garden is situated at the bottom of Main St and is open all year round. thousands of visiting bikers fo all ages and nationalities come to the Garden to quietly reflect on a racing legend.
Please take a moment to visit our site, to help improve the number of visits, so that I can get some sponsorship for the festival!!
Many thanks!
