Oh yeah! Imagine the expression on the bad guys faces being chased by 50 chair brandishing harley riders. I bet they shit themselves. Aussie crims just arent that bright are they?
On the subject of Aussie, do you still need a criminal record to get in?

When two armed thieves decided to raid a club in Sydney, they could not have made a worse choice. When they burst into the building, armed with machetes, they found themselves blundering in on the regular meeting of the Southern Cross Cruising Club, a 50-strong bike club enjoying a drink!
Club president Jerry Cornewal said “The robbers came into the club and ordered people to lie on the floor. But they did not notice us having a drink in the auditorium nearby. Fifty of us jumped out of our seats and raced out to the main bar”.
Club founder Noel Mannix added "It was very hard to see the expression on their faces because of the balaclavas, but I imagine it was something along lines of 'Oh shit, what have we done here?' "
On seeing the approaching group, the robbers fled, hotly pursued by the bikers. Mr Cornewal himself managed to cut off one of the gang by taking a shortcut “He came out the door wielding what I thought was a tyre lever, but was actually a samurai sword. I raced in and tackled him to the ground, footy-style, onto the concrete". Mr Cornewal and two other bikers tied up the thief and waited for police to arrive.
Police soon located the other robber nearby.
The two men have been charged with attempted robbery.

Two would-be armed robbers have had an unlucky run-in with 50 bikers, who stopped them after they tried to hold up a western Sydney club last night.
The pair, armed with machetes, threatened staff at the club on Terrene Street at Regent's Park about 9:00pm (AEDT).
About 50 members of the Southern Cross Cruiser motorcycle club were meeting there and caught one of the men in the car park.
They held him down until police came and arrested him.
The president of the club, who goes by the nickname Jester, says the robbers did not realise his group was there.
"I asked one of the guys in the foyer - I think it was either the security or one of the managers there - if there was a back entrance out of the bar and he said, 'Yeah, round by the roller door out the front,' so we ran around the roller door out the front," he said.
"This guy opened up the roller door and we crash-tackled him in the doorway, so in the heat of the moment, I just grabbed him and threw him to the ground."
Police say the second man was found at Auburn a short time later.
One man is under police guard at Westmead Hospital with minor injuries and the other man is helping with inquiries.

They showed surveillance footage of it all on TV this morning. Always good to start a working day with a big laugh.

It was like a Benny Hill chase scene, but without the hot chicks in scantily clad states of undress ... the complete opposite actually with hairy, burly bikers picking up chairs and chasing down the perps!
Was funny to see one, then two and suddenly a whole flood of bikers belting along
Great stuff!

As a biker it makes me feel all proud and puffed-out-chest.
I think I'll wear my leathers up town tonight and collect admiring glances.

Bloody Ozzy Bikies eh! So violent and uncivilised
Good on them though - good way to score a few beers! Lucky that teenagers are that easily manipulated...
(j/k)
Dunno why, but I read it as being in NZ (the North Island of course!) initially...
I'm sure the perps won't do it again though!
