Hey all ;)

I have ordered a Black Micron from the UK, which appears we could have a lead time of 2 months. I was given incorrect information by a guy at the distributors. (He said there had been a recall done on the black ones, and there could be a 3 month wait before the order could even be processed). Anyways, in the mean time I went to the dealers and just said put the silver one on and I will look at getting it coated black myself. Then the guy at the dealers has said that there was not a recall and that the order still stands. So I have a decision to make -

I can keep the silver one and look at getting it coated black myself. or I can take the silver one back for no penalty and wait for the black one. I am not sure on what is possible with slip ons as far as coatings and high temp painting.

There is a price difference between the silver and black ones, but then I guess the price difference would be negligable if I was to get the silver one painted myself.

Any advice or opinions much appreciated.

Wait for the black one, that way you can be sure the colour will stay on!

Wait for the bleck one. The silver in the picture don't look so flash & you might as well get the factory finish, seing as it's already coming.

Wait for the black one dude, painting might be a hassle. Temperature issues and it won't look as flash as the factory black one I rekon.
