Meh I'm fitter now that I've been in a long time and you'd still kick my ass Greg bald tire or not!! and you could even throw in a slipping clutch and broken front brake leaver.

Don't build me up Cheese, I'll definatley be cruisin if I get out there. Might even extend my time of the bike for a bit longer.

How difficult is this for a Noob on a KTM 200?

I decided that rather than try and kill myself on the DR650 I would actually buy a bike more suited to off road riding and this would be my first attempt at riding it.

This also assumes I can actually get organised enough / pluck up enough courage in time for friday...

Riverhead is extremely difficult in the wet which it will be. I would not suggest this ride for popping your cherry.
But nice choice of bike!

Well if you can't get your bike down in time, the next ride will be the "Bull Run"
on the 30th of March, and thats just up the road from where your bike is.

Bugger, but thanks for the advice, I'll look out for a suitable trail ride then. Biggest problem I have at the moment is finding time to fit in riding!

well im glad i took swimming lessions when i was a kid. Thought i was going to get caught in a rip in some of the water filled ruts and bogs, they were deep as.
Not that many people turned up, so you only meet a few out their on the trails.
Another 5 solid laps, and the bike was caked in the muck.
