2008 Tarawera 100 - who is interested?

Ok So I had a blast last year so I'm thinking I'll give it another go this year. I'm pretty sure Booom will be there too.

So anyway I got to thinking, lets get a group of us going. We could get a good spot in the pits and all the other halves come we have got a good pit crew - otherwise they can all piss off and go shopping..... LOL

Anyone Keen? I think it will be on around end of June.

Thanks for the question. We're having the AGM a little later than usual,
and won't have 'official' dates until then. Regardless though, here are
the dates which we are 99% certain of:
4 May - Trail ride
1 June - Trail ride
6 July - Trail ride
5 July - Tarawera 100
3 Aug - Trail ride
31 Aug - Trail ride
7 Sept - Trail ride
5 Oct - Trail ride
25/26 Oct - Junior Tarawera 50

Mint. Going to try and get my brother to compete too and my old man might pit crew. For me it all depends on how well behaved my 2 month old child is. And I won't be a stick insect by any stretch of the imagination, probably a born again fatty.

You guys are on to it . The clubs bulldozer is still at Awakaponga (summercross) so the committee needs to have its AGM and get started on those trails. There's been a bit of burnout from last years event so hopefully some new blood will get involved for this year's T100.

I'll be there, great ride & track last year and they said it was a difficult one. Didn't find it to bad myself. Was worried about the buckets of rain the week before the race (& up to the day before) but the track soaked it all up bar a few bogs.
