The Cirencester Round Table has paid for one of the bikes used by the Severn Free Wheelers, a volunteer group who transport blood and organs on behalf of the National Health Service in the UK.

The group has four bikes on loan from BMW until they can raise the funds to buy them; thanks to the kind gift of the Round Table, they now own one outright.

Mark Halliwell, secretary of the round table, said: "We have certain criteria that we like to satisfy when it comes to making donations. What could be better than a bike for a local charity that anybody in Gloucestershire could benefit from. It was the ideal opportunity for us, the guys do great work. Any of us at any stage might need to use this service."

So I assume they're not a business round table?
