View Full Version : Truly dumb biker doesn’t get new law!

When Australia introduced new “hoon” laws that allowed them to confiscate the vehicle of someone caught speeding, little did they know they would end up confiscating the same biker’s machine… twice in a fortnight.

In a clear case of “I really don’t get this”, a 30 year old was caught speeding – on exactly the same stretch of road(!), twice within two weeks.

The man – not named due to current police actions – was caught exceeding the 70kph limit by more than 45kph. On both occasions the dumber than normal offender had his Ducati seized for a minimum of 48 hours. Now he faces it being impounded for three months and his licence being cancelled for twelve months.

My son lives in Townsville and he's been telling me the law makers are talking about crushing the vechiles of repeat offenders of the Hooning laws.

Only talk at the moment but its only a matter of time before it is a reality.

As I've said before - what can you expect from the descendents of convicts?

No insurance for a police crushing, the best bit is you would still get to pay your hire purchase on the crushed vehicle :shit:

Damn sure they would. Stupid bugger for thinking he'd get lucky twice though I have to say, and you'd think at 30 he might know better...!

Ah well, dumb people come in all ages it seems.
