When Australia introduced new “hoon” laws that allowed them to confiscate the vehicle of someone caught speeding, little did they know they would end up confiscating the same biker’s machine… twice in a fortnight.
In a clear case of “I really don’t get this”, a 30 year old was caught speeding – on exactly the same stretch of road(!), twice within two weeks.
The man – not named due to current police actions – was caught exceeding the 70kph limit by more than 45kph. On both occasions the dumber than normal offender had his Ducati seized for a minimum of 48 hours. Now he faces it being impounded for three months and his licence being cancelled for twelve months.
