View Full Version : For the girls: Are moustaches sexy?

Bren

Over the last month I have been growing a muzzie. The wife finds it sexy and a few of the female staff at my work have said it looks good. But a couple of guys have just been laughing. I think cos they are so used to me without one. The style I went for is the Horseshoe one kinda like Hulk Hogans style.

So here is the Question. Are Muzzies sexy or not?

I happen to be one of those chicks who quite fancies mo's & goaties. BUT I reckon any facial hair needs to be kept well groomed/trimmed otherwise it gets just plain gross, yesterdays breakfast leftovas.....

Have dated a guy with a muzzie and don't go in for it on men, personally. But really strangely I do like it on Tom Selleck.

Go figure.

I prefer WT with facial hair. As Draco says as long as it's well groomed it's all good.

Haven't decided about WT's latest facial do yet that he did especially for the nationals at Puke this weekend. So far he's had positive comments from blokes!!!

Well WT does have that certain appeal to him with his ruggered good looks - yeah right :P

As stated earlier, if it is tidy and well groomed, a moustache / facial hair can look really sexy.

The problem in my opinion, is that not all guys suit moustaches (in the same way that not all women suit a hairstyle like Posh Spice for example).

I wouldn't worry too much about what the other guys think - they probably see how it is affecting the ladies (swoon) and are threatened by your newly discovered found look / popularity / sexuality etc etc..:niceone:

Nope not for me....

My father had a full moustache and beerd (how the hell do you spell that?), so when men have that they remind me of him... now thats not a bad thing, but I would prefer my partner not to remind me of him.

I like a small goatee though, on the right man, well groomed, it looks great.

For the Girls: Are Moustaches sexy?

No Mustaches are not sexy for girls. In fact I find girls with Moustaches extremly unattractive...

Since you asked for opinions, I prefer the clean-shaven style. That being said, a lot of men (and you are probably one) do suit moustaches.

My least favourite style is the mo with chin only beard that is connected by about 1cm of hair around mouth. It is a definite turn-off for me, but everyone is different and it appears to be a popular style.

Is your mo the same colour as your head hair?

We have one of those at my work - just about fell over the other day when I say that she had hot pink lipstick on....I wanted to tell her that it wasn't helping to distract anyone from her handlebars

Aww poor lady - it's as if she has no idea whatsoever...don't these lasses have mirrors too?!

Whats the goes Southern Rider, trying to copy Scumdog?? Well I nearly had a flip when he shaved his off, been so long on and I didn't recognise him. I hated it and wouldn't let him come near me without it. So i guess i am all for the manly growth and testosterone confirm, better do it now cause you can't when you're 70 plus.
Multi coloured is good as it shows you have got experience..:niceone:

It 100% depends on the muzzie. The handlebar is total turnoff for life but the close clipped kind the op was talking about is normally quite nice. Iit depends on the guy too. My man is mr clean shavin, head, chin, muzzie. lol I am not a fan of the prickly chin club and he shaves his head so he doesn't get helmet hair from his work hard hat...lmao.

Trudes
8th March 2008, 09:01
It does depend a little on the kind of facial hair and the guy it's on, but personally I'm all for smooth. I like baby faced men anyway, so clean shaven is good, have a little bit of an OCD thing with hair, so probably explains this.

I've known my man for 20 years and I have never seen him without facial hair. I love him to bits just the way he is...mind you, I do threaten every now and then to shave it all off when he's dead, (he doesn't get drunk, so I'll have to outlive him!) just so I can see what he really looks like!

Beard.

Slightly opposite logic here. Mo's on females are not a good look. Ladies, check your top lip please. If you can grab anything with a pair of tweezers, assume you have the beginning of a fine moustache.
It is surprising the amount of them out there...

There is nothing worse that being with a guy who has to shave twice a day and every time you get a bit frisky with him your chin looks like you have had an accident with some gravel. I like nice clean shaven men who feel all soft and smooth rubbing again you:msn-wink:

Haha, a tickle is nice, a big rashy welt is not!

Why should women's opinions of men's facial hair matter? It is time that men asserted/reclaimed their moral authority when it comes to all things masculine. They should start by growing all manner of facial hair that tickles their fancy, and by eschewing this disturbing trend for body waxing. If women have problems with that, they should HTFU and look elsewhere for subservient doormats who will kowtow to their petulant whims and vagaries.

A few years back, hubby was on holiday and so let the Gillette home for a couple of weeks.
When we came home, I wanted to see what he'd look like with a goatee, and Oh my goodness :love::drool:

He is being threatened with the worst possible treatment if he ever shaves it now...he looks so darn hot with it!

I mean he looks awesome clean shaven, but the goatee just adds a bit of further roguishness that appeals tremenduously to me.

But it very much depends on the individual, and I am definitely not for moustaches in general...

Look if you want to grow a 'tache please feel free to do so. You don't need to poll the female population of KB to justify your choice of facial decoration.

Besides most blokes find moustaches really funny, so you're always going to be providing a source of mirth for a reasonable portion of the population.
