Yes.

This is our 4th child together and Juliet's 6th, that "not rushing it" enough?

Sadly, "dad" is looking after the other three. And I feel shattered. I've have a bit more sleep than strayj and I can only imagine how stuffed she must feel.
PS. Where's the pics?? Come on, we need pics!
No pics yet - she arrived before we could get anything organised - charge camera batteries etc. One of our friends was going to take some pics with her cellphone but by the time Tegan was born we were all too tired to think of anything save getting our support team home and getting strayj over to Waterford (where she would have been born if she'd stuck with the plan but she elected to show up early and we had to have her at Waikato Hospital)
Had no idea. Do you know what causes it, now?
Yep. Dunno what prevents it, though.

Southern Cross will cover me for the chop and I have Lias volunteering to do the work with a couple of bricks...
Cheers for the well wishes, everyone.

Least you still got your sense of humour! All the best! We were reminded how it was when our grandson was born and saw how exhausted our poor daughter was!
I got the cut and tie job after our youngest and my wife both nearly died at her birth and the Doc said "No more". Still took five years to decide to do it, as we were still fairly young, but I now reckon it was the best thing I ever did for the Missus - actually she reckons it too...
Takes a lot of pressure off her. Not something to do lightly or too soon but in your situation probably a viable consideration.

Congratulations mate:D Hope mum baby and all the horde are doing well. After 4 I reckon you might be a candidate for the chop and the extra seat padding for a couple weeks brigade!
Or be the definition of hard man and ride home after the op!

Heh. Juliet actually said, when Tegan was finally delivered, "at least the hard part is over."
I said "Hon, that's the easy part; the hard part's the next 18 years!"

Yeah, bet that went down like a cup of cold sick, not exactly the soul of tact dude, not real diplomatic.
True enough though, but for now just make with the flowers and chockies eh? Time enough to deal with the rest when the time comes.

Was just trying to cheer her up :devil2:
Nah, that's the way we are with each other and how we cope with adversity (or being dead tired in the middle of the night).
She knows I'm terribly proud of her ( I told her as much frequently) - she went through quite a lot from Friday night to Sunday morning.

Truly, only the Wolf pack alpha's can decide this but hey, Rod Stuart was on the telly singing "first cut is the deepest" and I couldn't help thinking of you.
Never mind, enjoy your cub pack, they can be hard work :sweatdrop but sooooo rewarding in the long run!
The pain in your gonads will ease eventually but you know that already El Lobo, don't you! :shifty: Good luck! :niceone: Cheers John.

i'm not going to make any oblique, off-colour references to your gonads ..... everyone else has done that FAR more amusingly than i could
i'm just gonna say  THAT'S WONDERFUL NEWS  - SPman and i are so pleased for the three of you [and the rest of the pack!!]
now remember, if you EVER need any sensible, sane, grown-up advice on bringing up children ...... DON'T call me
but, if i'm in the country, babysitting is fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine ;)
Congratulations to both of you and welcome to Tegan!

Congrats guys - awesome stuff... really really cool...
oh and Wolf - I've been to the doc and can honestly say two things...
1) I've had worse pain from a (single) filling... it's NOTHING!
2) Yes - I could have ridden home (you haven't met me but those that know me will testify to how much of a sook I am)
Get it done now while there's no sex anyway... LOL
Back on topic... Congrats to the girls and welcome to the world for the littlest one.
